Bihar ki jeet humaari hai, ab Bengal ki baari hai: Union Minister amid early leads
As early counting trends from Bihar unfold, a strong message is emerging from the political landscape one that Union Minister Giriraj Singh has voiced with confidence and clarity. With the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) taking a commanding lead, Singh has asserted that “Bihar ki jeet humaari hai, ab Bengal ki baari hai”, declaring that the next major political milestone for the party will be in West Bengal.
NDA’s Strong Lead Signals Voter Confidence
Initial counting trends show a decisive edge for the NDA in Bihar, reaffirming the public’s trust in its governance model. Union Minister Giriraj Singh, who represents Begusarai in Parliament, emphasized that the people of Bihar have once again rejected what he termed as “jungle raj” and corruption. According to Singh, voters have chosen stability, development, and social harmony over disorder and misrule.
‘Bihar Rejects Anarchy’: Giriraj Singh
In an exclusive interaction with India Today, Singh highlighted that Bihar’s verdict clearly reflects the people’s desire for a progressive and corruption-free government.
“Those who understand Bihar know that the people here do not want ‘jungle raj’. Bihar’s citizens reject anarchy and corrupt leadership. Speaking as a dedicated BJP worker, I say this clearly Bihar’s victory is ours; now it’s Bengal’s turn,” he said.
He further added that even though today’s young voters may not have witnessed the earlier era of lawlessness, the older generation remembers it well. Their choice today, he said, is rooted in experience and aspiration.
Development at the Core of NDA’s Appeal
Singh stressed that the people of Bihar have endorsed development-driven governance. He pointed to visible improvements across the state particularly the rapid expansion of engineering and medical colleges, and the replacement of substandard Charvaha Vidyalayas with robust educational infrastructure.
“It is about development, social harmony, and justice. Today, we see engineering and medical colleges opening in every district. This is progress,” he stated.
The Bengal Mission
Confident after the Bihar results, the Union Minister predicted that the BJP’s next major victory will be in West Bengal. According to Singh, governance issues in Bengal including what he described as “anarchy influenced by external elements” will eventually lead people to seek change.
“We will win Bengal too. The current government there is marked by anarchy, influenced by external elements, but the people of Bengal will eventually recognize the truth,” he claimed.
Leadership Clarity: Nitish Kumar to Lead
Amid speculation surrounding Bihar’s chief ministerial position, Singh dismissed all confusion, making it clear that the government will continue under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
“Nitish Kumar has led the government effectively. There is no need for confusion. Under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, the government has been formed. So where is the confusion?” he asked.
Conclusion
With the NDA surging ahead in Bihar and Giriraj Singh confidently projecting a future victory in Bengal, the political narrative is shifting. Bihar’s voters have made their decision, choosing development and stability over disorder. And as the BJP now turns its gaze toward West Bengal, the political landscape in the east is set for an intense and closely watched chapter.
