Lava Agni 4 launches tomorrow in India: Expected features and price
Lava is all set to launch its next flagship smartphone, the Lava Agni 4, in India tomorrow. Positioned strongly in the mid-segment, the Agni 4 aims to capture the attention of under-₹30,000 buyers, a category where the homegrown brand continues to expand its presence. As the successor to the Agni 3 launched last year, this new model is expected to offer a major leap in performance, design, and AI capabilities.
A Glimpse Into Lava’s AI Vision
One of the biggest highlights of the Lava Agni 4 is the introduction of VayuAI, Lava’s in-house AI solution. VayuAI is expected to bring enhanced productivity features such as content summaries, creation tools, and editing functions, making everyday tasks smoother and more intuitive.
The phone will also feature a customisable Action Key, allowing users to assign shortcuts for quick access to preferred apps or functions.
Premium Display and Build
The Agni 4 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED punch-hole display, offering a sharp and vibrant visual experience. The panel will likely support a 120 Hz refresh rate along with an impressive peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, ensuring excellent clarity even under harsh sunlight.
Lava is also upgrading the design by offering a glass back panel supported by a premium aluminium chassis, giving the device a flagship-grade feel.
Powerful Hardware and Smooth Performance
Under the hood, the Lava Agni 4 will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, promising a performance boost suitable for multitasking, gaming, and everyday use. It is expected to include LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, with variants possibly going up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
The smartphone is likely to ship with stock Android 15, offering a clean and bloat-free software experience. Additionally, a VC liquid cooling system will be included for improved thermal management.
Camera Capabilities
Agni 4 is expected to sport a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50 MP main shooter paired with an ultrawide sensor. On the front, users may get a 50 MP selfie camera, a standout feature in this price segment and a welcome addition for photography enthusiasts and content creators.
Battery, Charging & Other Highlights
While Lava has not officially revealed the battery capacity, the Agni 4 is likely to carry a 5,000 mAh battery with up to 60W fast charging support.
The smartphone will launch in two colour options Lunar Mist and Phantom Black. Lava has confirmed that the device will be available exclusively on Amazon, where a dedicated microsite is already live.
Expected Price
The Lava Agni 4 is expected to debut with a sub-₹30,000 price tag, making it a competitive offering in the mid-range flagship space.
