Alto to Brezza: 5 Maruti Suzuki cars with biggest price cuts

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker, has rolled out a major price reduction across its lineup following the implementation of GST 2.0. The company confirmed that it will pass on the complete benefit of the revised GST rates to customers, making its cars more affordable. The new pricing came into effect on September 22, 2025, with price cuts of up to ₹1.29 lakh.

This move is expected to stimulate demand in the Indian passenger vehicle market, especially during the festive season. However, Maruti Suzuki has clarified that these revised prices are valid only for a limited period and may be revised before the end of the calendar year.

Here are the top five Maruti Suzuki cars with the biggest price cuts.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

The S-Presso has seen the highest price reduction in Maruti Suzuki’s lineup, with a cut of ₹1,29,600. Prices now start at just ₹3,49,900 (ex-showroom). Known as a micro-SUV, the S-Presso combines the practicality of a city hatchback with the high ground clearance of an SUV. It continues to be offered with both petrol and CNG powertrains, making it one of the most affordable yet versatile options in the market.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza

A star performer in the sub-4 metre compact SUV segment, the Brezza has also received a significant price cut of ₹1,12,700. Prices now begin at ₹8,25,900 (ex-showroom). With its strong brand appeal, spacious cabin, and petrol + CNG engine choices, the Brezza is expected to attract even more buyers looking for a feature-packed compact SUV at a lower entry price.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Next on the list is the stylish Maruti Suzuki Fronx, which gets a ₹1,12,600 price cut. Its revised starting price now stands at ₹6,84,900 (ex-showroom). Based on the popular Baleno, the Fronx gets crossover-inspired styling and is unique in Maruti’s portfolio for offering an optional turbo-petrol engine, adding a sporty edge to its practicality.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10

The Alto K10 continues to be Maruti Suzuki’s most affordable car, and now it is even more budget-friendly. With a price cut of ₹1,07,600, the Alto K10 starts at just ₹3,69,900 (ex-showroom). For many first-time buyers and two-wheeler owners considering an upgrade, this price slash makes the Alto K10 one of the most attractive entry-level options.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

Rounding off the list is the premium Grand Vitara, built in partnership with Toyota. This SUV has received a ₹1,07,000 price reduction, with prices now starting at ₹10,76,500 (ex-showroom). The Grand Vitara offers a wide range of powertrain options, including naturally aspirated petrol, strong hybrid, CNG, and all-wheel drive (AWD). With the new pricing, it becomes an even stronger contender in the highly competitive mid-size SUV space.

Conclusion

From the affordable Alto K10 and S-Presso to the feature-rich Brezza and premium Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki’s limited-period GST 2.0 price cuts make its cars more appealing than ever. With savings of up to ₹1.29 lakh, buyers looking for a new car in 2025 have plenty of reasons to head to a Maruti Suzuki showroom sooner rather than later.
