Adani Ports’ Hazira Liquid Terminal achieves second highest-ever bulk liquid volume

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) has added another milestone to its remarkable growth story with the Hazira Liquid Terminal recording an exceptional performance in August 2025. The terminal handled 507,276 metric tonnes (0.51 million tonnes) of bulk liquid cargo during the month, making it the second highest-ever monthly throughput in its history. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 0.49 million tonnes set in October 2021.

A Month of Record-Breaking Efficiency

The operational strength of Hazira Liquid Terminal was underscored by the smooth handling of 71 liquid tankers in a single month. This reflects the terminal’s unmatched efficiency, operational excellence, and its growing capability to manage large-scale liquid cargo volumes seamlessly.

To put this achievement into perspective, the cargo volume handled in August is equivalent to the weight of over 85,000 adult elephants or more than 2,000 fully loaded Boeing 747 aircrafts.
