On Tuesday, domestic equities closed higher, led by IT stocks. The Sensex gained 314.02 points, or 0.39%, to close at 81,101.32, while the Nifty 50 rose 95.45 points, or 0.39%, to end at 24,868.60. Asian Market Update

India-US Trade Talks

US President Donald Trump confirmed that talks with India are ongoing to resolve trade barriers. In a statement on Truth Social, Trump said he looks forward to speaking with Prime Minister Modi soon and expressed confidence in reaching a mutually beneficial deal.
