DP World signs long term title partner extension with the DP World tour
DP World and the DP World Tour have officially extended their long-term partnership, marking one of the most significant agreements in golf’s history. Under the renewed deal, DP World will continue as the Title Partner and Official Logistics Partner of the DP World Tour until 2035 solidifying a shared vision to expand the global reach and inclusivity of the sport.
A Decade-Long Commitment to Growth
The extended partnership ensures that DP World will remain the Title Partner of the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai until 2035, the season-ending Rolex Series event where the prestigious Race to Dubai Champion is crowned. Additionally, DP World will become an Official Partner to 15 more tournaments each season, creating even more opportunities to engage with fans and local communities across global markets.
Strengthening the Global Game
Since the partnership began in 2022 when the European Tour was renamed the DP World Tour the collaboration has revolutionized the global golf landscape. With 42 tournaments across 26 countries, record-breaking prize funds, and a growing international fan base, the Tour has become more global, more connected, and more inclusive than ever before.
Guy Kinnings, CEO of the DP World Tour, praised the impact of the partnership:
“The first stage of our landmark relationship focused on raising global awareness of the DP World brand and building new business leads. Over the past four years, that’s been a tremendous success. This renewed agreement represents the next phase a deeper integration of DP World’s supply chain expertise into our global operations.”
Connecting Trade, Sport, and Communities
Yuvraj Narayan, Group Deputy CEO & CFO of DP World, highlighted how the partnership reflects the company’s global mission:
“Our collaboration with the DP World Tour mirrors how sport connects markets and communities, just as we do through trade. This long-term investment underscores our belief in the Tour’s future and our commitment to making golf more inclusive and sustainable.”
DP World’s involvement in golf goes beyond sponsorship. Through initiatives like Second Life and the global Clubhouse programme, the company transforms shipping containers into grassroots training hubs, inspiring young golfers and fostering lasting community impact.
Expanding Golf’s Reach in India and Beyond
Following the success of the inaugural DP World India Championship, the event is set to return in 2026, with plans to become a permanent fixture on the Tour calendar. This reflects DP World’s ambition to grow golf in emerging markets and engage fans in new regions.
A Partnership Built on Legacy and Innovation
DP World’s relationship with the Tour began in 2009 as a presenting partner of the Race to Dubai finale. Over the years, this partnership has evolved into a powerful alliance connecting the worlds of trade and sport, and this latest extension marks another milestone in that journey.
By continuing its role until 2035, DP World reaffirms its commitment to the global growth of golf driving inclusivity, accessibility, and sustainability while shaping the future of the sport for generations to come.
