Apple WWDC 2025 event today: When and where to watch the LIVE-Stream?

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 kicks off today, June 9, at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. As always, the annual event will spotlight Apple’s newest software innovations and platform upgrades. This year’s keynote is particularly anticipated, as Apple aims to refocus attention on its core strengths amid growing concerns about its progress in artificial intelligence (AI).

The WWDC 2025 keynote will be streamed live globally, starting at 10:00 AM PT (that’s 10:30 PM IST for viewers in India). The live broadcast can be accessed via:

For those who can’t tune in live, Apple will offer on-demand playback of the entire event shortly after it ends. Whether you're a developer, Apple enthusiast, or curious viewer, it’s a great opportunity to stay updated with what Apple has in store for the future.

What to Expect at WWDC 2025

This year, Apple is expected to make several major announcements that could redefine how we interact with its ecosystem. The biggest change? A new naming scheme for all of its software platforms. Instead of the expected iOS 19, Apple is leaping forward with iOS 26, aligning its versioning with the current year. This pattern will be adopted across other platforms as well iPadOS 26, macOS 26, and so on.

Another headline feature is a revamped user interface (UI) based on visionOS, which debuted with Apple Vision Pro. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, users can expect a more immersive and transparent interface using “digital glass,” with updated toolbars, redesigned app icons, and a more fluid, light-centric look. The new UI could also introduce contextual menus and quick-access lists that enhance productivity and ease of use.

AI, App Updates, and Performance Enhancements

Despite lagging behind some of its competitors in the AI space, Apple is set to highlight how it’s integrating Apple Intelligence into its core software. AI-driven improvements may include enhanced battery optimization for iPhones, smarter system suggestions, and context-aware app features.

Users can also look forward to redesigned Phone, Safari, and Camera apps across iOS and iPadOS, offering a fresher look and more efficient performance.
