AI That Can Actually Use Your Computer

Anthropic said that Claude can now use the mouse and keyboard, view the screen, open applications, browse the internet, and complete tasks across different software. This means the AI can perform routine desk work such as filling spreadsheets, navigating browsers, managing documents, and handling workflows   all without direct human input.

In the demonstration video, a user running late for a meeting asks Claude to export a pitch deck as a PDF and attach it to a meeting invite. The AI completes the tasks independently, showing how it can automate everyday office work that normally requires manual effort.
